I am a wife, a mom of two girls, a step-mom and I have a kick-ass career when not on maternity leave. Most importantly to you though I am a woman on a journey to create the most toxic free environment I can for my kids to grow up in. That ranges from what they eat, what they wear, what they play with to what products I use in our home. My goal is to not go overboard about it, but to be practical. I am not promoting a 100% organic lifestyle or telling you to throw out every pair of Tory Burch flats (I’m sure as hell not throwing out mine) you have. This blog is called PRACTICALLY organic, it’s about making changes that you can live with (and afford) that will have the greatest impact on your exposure to hazardous chemicals.
As I said this is a journey and I am looking for people to walk this road with, if you have information I don’t or I’ve made a mistake somewhere let me know. I’m looking forward to hearing from other moms like me (bonus points if you have a husband who rolls his eyes when you refuse to take a receipt at the grocery store because it contains BPAs) and continuing this education.
